High Performance Coaching
Unlocking Your Next Level of Success and Leadership
Beyond Therapy: The Strategic Advantage of High Performance Coaching
High Performance Coaching is not about fixing problems; it's about amplifying potential. If you are a high-achieving individual; an executive, a seasoned professional, a competitive athlete, or a driven entrepreneur, you are likely seeking breakthrough results and sustainable excellence, not symptom management. I provide a focused, action-oriented partnership designed to eliminate constraints, optimize decision-making, and achieve specific, measurable goals in your professional and personal life. My methodology is rooted in behavioral science. performance psychology, and other modalities.
Who Benefits from Executive and Performance Coaching?
Executives and Leaders: Mastering strategic vision, effective delegation, and navigating high-stakes corporate environments.
Entrepreneurs and Business Owners: Enhancing focus, scaling operations, and developing mental resilience against burnout.
High-Potential Professionals: Breaking through career plateaus and securing rapid promotions or role transitions.
Athletes and Competitors: Developing peak mental state management and overcoming performance blocks and anxiety.
Focused Approach: Neuroscience Meets Strategic Action
My coaching programs are structured, confidential, and built on proven frameworks that bridge the gap between where you are and where you are capable of being. We won’t focus solely on the past; we will also focus on future-forward, actionable systems to drive measurable improvement.
Key Performance Pillars of My Coaching Program
Optimized Decision-Making: Implementing frameworks to reduce analysis paralysis, enhance cognitive bias awareness, and ensure rapid, high-quality strategic choices under pressure.
Peak State Management and Resilience: Utilizing tools from sport psychology (like visualization and mindfulness) to maintain consistent emotional regulation and flow states, translating directly into better performance.
Leadership and Influence Mastery: Developing advanced communication skills, effective team motivation, and authentic presence required to lead large teams or complex organizations.
Energy and Time Optimization: Creating bespoke systems to manage energy—not just time—to prevent burnout and maximize output without sacrificing well-being.

Coaching vs. Counseling: Understanding the Focus of Your Growth
Making the decision to seek support is a powerful first step. To ensure you receive the right approach, it is crucial to understand the distinct roles of a High Performance Coach and a Licensed Psychotherapist.
The Focus: Coaching is Future-Oriented, Therapy is Healing-Focused
As a High Performance Coach, my role is to help you define and move toward specific personal and professional goals. Coaching is a future-focused, action-oriented partnership that draws on clinical theory from pioneers like Dr. Carl Rogers, Dr Carl Jung, and Dr. Alfred Adler. These thinkers emphasized the individual as the "artist of their life." I collaborate with you to define your life dreams, formulate actionable plans to grow your skills and talents, teach practical tools, and provide structured accountability, encouragement, and empathetic listening to help you navigate challenges and create a life you are excited about.
While experienced coaches and therapists share qualities—such as customized approaches, observation, and encouragement, their professional scopes differ significantly:
A Licensed Psychotherapist works with a client dealing with emotional challenges, trauma, mental illness (like anxiety or depression), grief, loss, and deep relationship issues. A therapist often draws on the client's past history and clinical assessment to facilitate emotional healing and symptom resolution. Coaches do not over-analyze the past, diagnose mental health conditions, or treat trauma. My focus as a coach is always on collaborating with you to move forward, enhancing your quality of life, further developing your inherent skills, confidence, and creativity through specific strategies.
Ethical Commitment and Scope of Practice
As a professional who holds both a coaching practice and licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon, maintaining ethical clarity around our respective roles is paramount.
Clear Boundaries: No Dual Role Service
Though I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and coaching shares positive aspects like intentional listening and empathy, my role and work as a Coach is completely separate from my role as a Psychotherapist. We will not work in both roles at the same time. This would constitute an unethical "dual role" practice, which clinical therapists do not engage in. If we work together as coach and client, our relationship is strictly limited to the coaching function and its scope.
Protocol for Therapeutic Referral
If, after our first session or at any point during our coaching work, it becomes apparent that you would be better supported by Psychotherapy, I have a clear referral protocol:
Outside of Oregon: Since I am only licensed in Oregon, I will promptly provide you with clinical referrals to licensed therapists in your geographical area.
Within Oregon: If you are located in the State of Oregon and would prefer to transition to working with me in my Psychotherapist role, we can discuss this. This transition is possible only if it aligns with what you hope to achieve in counseling and falls explicitly under my clinical scope of practice.
I am committed to ensuring you always receive the highest level of appropriate care.
Invest in Your Future: Confidentiality and Scheduling
My coaching services are billed privately, ensuring absolute confidentiality outside of any insurance or medical records system. I offer flexible scheduling to accommodate executive and professional timelines.
